Title: New Vid card needs fps help

Just put in a new Nvida      ti4200  card in 128 meg

Have an A7 1800xt 256k ddr ram

Now my fps is stuck at 59 fps no matter what or where
like it's set at that number.

I am running Win 98se

100 mz refresh rate


I know it must something simple
any advice??

ah video settings, there are cap settings which permit u to prevent your framerate going over 40, 60 or u can set it unlimited.

Check that first

Are you sure you are running 100hz?

Reinstall VIA 4in1 drivers and be sure to install the AGP in Turbo mode.

Same problem here just yesterday after installing the latest nvidia drivers, 4in1 solved the problem.

SHurj   yes to 100 and have on unlimited.

Mandoable where can I get VIA 4 in one drivers?  I am using the latest driver  29.42 from driver list only about 2 weeks old

VIA Arena (http://www.viaarena.com) has the 4-in-1 drivers. They work for all VIA chipsets.
