When I was a kid I watched the "Galloping Gourmet", what a freak. That "Cajun Cooking" dude is not bad, but don't understand a word he's saying:)

Grahm Kerr/Galloping Gourmet
very funny - always toejam-faced in the early alcholic days - never knew what was going to come out of his mouth

Julia Childs
- classy old girl, tutsy-tutsy way of talking was funny

Frugal Gourmet - Jeff whatever, appreciated his food, but he was a major disappointment in the end :(

Iron Chef - good stuff

Emeril? - Sorry. The showmanship overpowers the food.

My favorite shows are those that explain and educate as they go along...

I don't cook by the way, I just like food

Urrgh Yan Can Cook
"Loook at dat!"   We get that show in Hong Kong too..... can't think why ;)

We get a Canadian show too: Savoir Faire.
Wow. Up until I saw this show, I'd always thought Canada shared a queen with the Brits. Not so! Apparently Canada's Queen is Nik Manojlovich. :D
Judge for yourselves...

My favorite was Jeff Smith, the "Frugal Gormet", until he disappeared suddenly after allegations of molesting his underlings surfaced. Anyone heard anymore about what happened in that situation?

Emeril used to be great, but now he's so popular that his focus is on entertainment and not education when it comes to the kitchen.

Love Iron Chef..."WWF meets Julia Child" - And they cook weird chit!

The dubbed English of the Japanese actresses is so insipidly idiotic it is LOL funny. "I just love the way the flavor explodes in my mouth teeheeteehee."

Alton Brown's "Good Eats" Very good, informative and clever show.

Justin Wilson was the Cajun dude.  I gawrontee!  ;)  I loved watching him cook.  Liberal amounts of hot sauce and wine, yet half the wine ended up in him and not the food.  :D

Iron Chef dubs are hilarious!  "The bitter taste of the fish innards reminds me of my youth running along a flower covered field on a warm summer day..."  If that's the literal translation...  WOW!  he got that from eating some fish intestines???
