Title: if u need a laugh
Post by: SFRT - Frenchy on June 24, 2002, 05:56:23 AM: Yesterday our base was undefended, attacked by F4Us and F6s. To try to defend it from the vulch till some countrymen finally dare to join to help, I take off in the usuall spit base defender.

I got killed. I reup, got killed ... 4 times total. the spit felt a bit sluggish even with 75% of fuel.

I finally realized that I missed the spit9 selection, I was getting vulched flying a Spit14.

spit I =>spit hna'h TIE (Ho! my god !! mandoble was right ;))
spit V => spit hna'h SEV
spit IX => spit hna'h PIE (hehe :))

once on a cv , once on a ground field. Kept upping, and alot more than 4 times..dozens of times.

both times i only realized this after i got the "you dont have enough perk points to fly this plane."

right now i have about 40 perk points...down for hundreds (as the ground based incident happened about 3 days ago.)

dont feel so bad, there are bigger tards than you in this world :)

Try to go back up and "You don't have enough perks to fly that Plane" dam roman numbers anyhow. SpitXIV sucks even when you fly it on purpose.:mad:

Post by: funkedup on June 25, 2002, 01:48:55 PM: I flew a whole sortie on Sunday in a Hurricane and couldn't figure out why my plane was so slow. Turns out I had the RPM slider all the way back.

One time I got a 10 kill sortie in a Spit V. Then I realized I had a 500 lb bomb. :)

Post by: SunKing on June 25, 2002, 02:23:11 PM: I think I saw that.... The Knights were taking a field, had a 5+ plane cap and some guy kept upping a spit14, twice that I saw.. We were all saying the samething "What the heck?" Then had a good laugh realizing he was clicking the worng plane.. been there done that.
