Hello All:
I'm new to AH and have been busy reading manuals and the boards to avoid asking dweeb questions but I have run up against two topics that I need help on.
1) When tuned to your squad voice channel (4) --Is there any way to get a non-squad (but friendly countrymen) to tune up with you? Or do you have to get the squad to tune to a neutral channel like 150 and have others join in. (this would be a scenario when the squad wanted to talk to an individual we knew without using the proxy radio to disrupt others near us)
2) My single biggest problem!--30% of the time that I'm at the hanger and switching vehicles/load out--bang I inadvertently reset my fuel to 25%. Other than having better SA with regards to fuel, at take-off, anything I can do to avoid that from happening?
Thanks for any suggestion and feedback

1. Squad channel (red text) is only for Squad Members. Channel like exs. 150 (yellow)e veryone in country could tune up. You need tune your radio (1-4) to Squad Chanel to have members message only.
2. I think its a bug. I never run out of gasoline in my (short) GV sorties.

Try moving the clipboard to another part of the screen before clicking the Tower or one of the runways. What is happening is when you click one of these, you are also effectively clicking the fuel selection behind the clipboard! Annoying enough in the MA, but I (and a few of my squad-mates) did this once in a TOD - and wondered why we ran out of fuel before were were halfway across the channel! :o

Flossy, I though you buff drivers did a pre-flight checklist. ;)

pic plane.... hit esc to hide the kneeboard then select fuel /load out ect. hit esc again . the fuel load can be alittle buggy at times a reset to a lower amount .so double check it befor each new plane flight .
