I certainly hope the disabled buf guns (a holdover from WB) are fixed in 1.10. In addition, it is stupid to keep the pilot from going back to a gun position if there is one other person onboard a bomber. If the observer is simply there to observe, then the pilot has no gun defense whatsoever and can't even defend his own bomber (sort of like having airline pilots with no guns).

I believe Pyro has said that in 1.10, both the pilot and a gunner can both man guns, allowing a bomber or 3-plane pulk (using the multi-bomber option) to engage two targets at a time.

Give the stweardesses guns....let the damn pilots fly the plane, please? The last thing I want (and probably would) see, is Captain Earp and Commander Holliday shooting at people while the plane goes into a flat spin...wing-loading on 757's suck arse :)

I agree with vega. The one nice thing about warbirds (about the only nice thing) was that you had a choice as a pilot to enable or disable autogunners. They didn't have pinpoint laser accuracy but they did give cons something to think about. It also gave buff pilots a chance to go to the bomb site without leaving the plane undefended. In AH that's the easiest way to kill a buff, hover above the target waiting for the buff to approach. Then blast him while he's in the bomb site.

Hmmm, funny the last thing I want to see is a plane I'm on hijacked and flown into a sky scraper because the useless FAA doesn't trust our own pilots. If they won't give the pilots guns then install a sky marshall in each and every cockpit.

oh, here's something i want to know
if you go on the bomb run, calibrate the site, and you go to a gunner pos, will the bombs drop automatic
when in the bomb site, will the bombs drop automatic anyway?
i hope it is automatic as IRL the norden dropped them automaticly

What the hell happened with my bomber view and what happened to the realism of the game??? I mean a country shaped like a piece sign??? What next, a freaking hart-shaped country??? I'm seriously considering ending my suscription... I played for two hours today then just totally lost interest.. I was so excited about the new version, but once i saw it, it was a total let down... Maybe the next version will have manuals with each bomber.. What a joke AH turned out to be...

ACE u ar e a knight i saw u fly n w/ us few nights ago...dam man.....u sound depressed....
if you want u can swicth sides and I would be happpy to strafe u as u rol down runway..Im sure that will make u feel much bettr...atlest it will me..lololo

Ace101, enough already. In the short time you have been here, you have managed to alienate yourself from several Bishops, and that's not an easy thing to do, because in my opinion, we really work well together (well..for the most part :) ). On a nightly basis, you demonstrate little class, and no respect whatsoever to the Bishops, gameplay, and to AH in general. You have a choice. You can learn the game, play with the level of respect the players (yes, you included) deserve, or go back to Quake or Warbirds. This is a game for gamers, and there is little need for your immature prattle on the text buffer, and now, here on the BB's. You have not been here nearly long enough to flame the game to the level which you have been doing, and it's wearing thin, bigtime. If you dislike the game, you are free to leave. I'm just speaking for myself, and I'll still fly with and cover your arse when I see you up, but please, show a little respect, will you? Thanks!
