saw them once in the Gator Bowl at night, 1st concert I'd seen with lazers. '75 I think

I will be getting together with a couple of music buds tonight to blast Live At Leeds and tilt quite a few beers in his memory.


I wouldn't be surprised if Keith Moon dressed up as The Devil and decorated the Gates of Heaven to look like the other place upon John's arrival just for a prank...:)

Sad news, indeed.  His abilities with the bass were second to none.  Anyone who could keep Moon in time has to be.

I saw them do Quadrophenia in 96, and bought two tix, to take the wife to see him and Pete.  I hope they have the class to cancel the touring altogether.  Pete can't carry the load himself.
