Secondly I fear the article is a bit of a jab at the War on Terror rather than the Suicide bombers.
However Doron Rosenblum has been fairly dumb in his choice of targets: London has had lots of bomb attacks. Bomb attacks on the BBC? Shock! Horror! Try 4 March 2001. See how outraged the UK was:

So is the article educational? Well I think he is at least trying to saying that blind retaliation is fairly ridiculous.

Post by: Durr on July 01, 2002, 10:59:54 AM: Yes it is suicide bombing to be sure, but I believe she meant that the 9-11 attack was like a one-time highly planned attack vs. the constant everyday "man walks into nightclub and blows self up, 8 killed" type attacks that Israel is afflicted with. However, I dont think that we will ever see those type of attacks on the same scale here for a number of reasons. It wouldnt surprise me if there were a few of that type over the next few years though unfortunately.
