Attack is real 'edge of your seat' stuff. I've been defending bases from ground attacks, recently. I prefer two 1k eggs and 25 fuel. The eggs allow for kills with near misses, and the 25 fuel keeps it real. I tend to keep the same plane up, unless I get a rad hit, or pilot wound. I've come to love the rearm pad, especially at a field under attack. Avoiding the vultchers and getting past the Flak's is really a blast.

I tend to glide a lot, get wounded a lot, rad hits are common, and there are plenty of ditches to go around. Still, I really love it when I get the enemy so mad, that they send fighters over looking for the Typhoon. :D

Perhaps he meant 'Real' in the context of 'intense' as opposed to how us simmers regard the term 'real' as to mean 'realistic'  :)

Err, shouldn't this post be entitled 'defense'?  If you want to stop the GV's, take more bombs and more fuel and go 'attack' the VH they're spawning from.  One attacker can turn 5 enemies into defenders, which is much more efficient than stomping on nearby cockroaches.

Don't knock it, until you've tried it! :)

I use Hispano's on the M3, Math. ... and Panzers, and Flak, and M8, etc. Knocking out the VH is someone else's job. :D

I just get a US plane and go knock out the VH if I'm lazy, but if I want perkies I go and hunt around the VH waiting for GVs to spawn :D
