Title: Stall/Max AOA Limiter
Post by: MadBirdCZ on July 01, 2002, 12:36:11 PM
Ehm.. We have it already... But so far its called flying with 1 vertical stabilizer shot off :D :p

So nothing new here ;)

For the Record:

Im really not affraid of this feature. Im sure that in MA its gonna be implemented either as an OPTION for all or as an OPTION for NEW players only. But still think that in MA its gonna be left as option for all. I dont really think it will make that much difference since planes with the limiter ON will not be able to fly 'on the edge' so where is the fire guys? Stop judging the patch even before its out.... ;)

People are complaining about this?

It looks to me more like they will implement it so that in the MA ONLY people with 1 month or less can have this enabled.... otherwise I doubt they would of added that option...

It's no more a threat to gameplay than auto-takeoff.

Oi, old boy, surely you meant half-elevator or horizontal stabilizer? Just an eye for detail, sorry. :D

You can trim the plane fully nose-heavy too.  That will limit stalls nicely.  :)

The B17 gunner crew will moon and throw soiled bathroom supplies and unused 50cal boxes at you as you go flaming down, past their vert stab; they will return home late but safe, it is possible for a moderately experienced bomber pilot to nurse it home once past the home free line at cruise altitude.
