Title: Anyone else having trouble seeing smoke?
Post by: Tumor on July 03, 2002, 03:17:21 PM
Anyone else having trouble seeing the flak smoke? (you know... the puffs as they go off around you).  I can barely see it... can't actually see it at all unless its REAL close to the plane.  Haven't seen any smoke off a busted up plane yet.

I am definitely having problem with the smoke from flak and damaged planes. I can see it just fine but it disapates very quickly. Meaning unless I look right at it I miss it. I think it they just increase the time it takes for the smoke particles to disapate it would solve the problem.

You almost have to be looking directly at it .. its very faint and fades away very rapidly. I fine some of the smoke from the planes to also be very faint.

flak smoke seems to have some problems, but smokes spewed from planes I do not have much trouble with. It just varies more than what we were used to.

The light grey smoke indicating radiator damage is pretty faint and very light grey, fuel leaks seem a bit thinner than other smokes(not sure about this) but definately very white, and the smokes you get from fires or dead engines are thick and deep black.

I kinda like it this way :D
