Title: Can we model Sky Diving?
Post by: killjoy1 on December 22, 2001, 06:22:00 PM
The physics are basically the same. We have a the c47. All we need is the model.

Imagine the Flying Elvises or better yet, The Flying Pigs!

Fighter Ace 2 had a bit of parachute control.. when you move the stick, the person on the chute sways his body to corresponding directions, thus.. 'sky diving' was possible  :)

There were 'Pin point parachuting' contests which were quite fun, as a matter of fact  :D.. and watching the person on the chute squirm to evade enemy fire was even more fun  :)

 I think it's a harmless and interesting idea  :)

Sounds funny, but I would rather HTC commit time to new game improvements and aircraft rather than stuff like this.

I want sky diving and being HIT by a p51 and having my guys fly over his window and his window crack and have very little visablty. THAT would be cool. and another thing is i think we should beable to chose when the troops pull there chutes out... drop troops at 30k let em fall to 1k off ground pull chte land and take feild THAT would also be a good idea

HALO troops would be a sweet idea for a perk transport that had a faster climbrate and top speed.
