In Foxy it says never calibrate Cougar in Windows. Fair enuf. BUT it also says " or use third party calibration routines". Does this include AH calibration routine?
Quite a few people on these boards advise calibrating the Cougar within AH??

The reason you don't calibrate the Cougar with the traditional Windows control panel gaming options is because the calibration settings are held within the joystick. Usually they are held and applied by the computer. To calibrate using control panel as well would negate any axis profiles held in the stick. However you do need to calibrate using the AH setup as well as this defines the stick centres within AH at the very least. AH's calibration is not the same as the Windows control panel one.

Thanks Zeb, I was also wondering about this.

Yea, thanks Zeb. I simply love this stick and I think the stiff springs are the best thing about it! I wish the CH rudders had as much resistance.
