The warbirds were Top Flite kits.  http://www.top-flite.com

The Beaver was another kit by Unionville Hobbies

The Lake Buckaneer was a piece of crap kit from some long defunct Japanese company.

But the prebuilt kits coming out now are so good it "almost" isn't worth building one anymore.

Prebuilt (ARF=almost ready to fly)trainers are really cheap.Need to get a good engine a decent radio,a flight box with battery and fuel pump...

Lastly,I'd highly recommend joining a club to learn...It's way harder than flying a sim and an experienced flyer can give you priceless instruction.

Also need to get insurance which is really cheap....Hope that helps..:)

If you need more advice, post in the O'Club...Lots of R/C jocks in there.(including HiTech)..:)
