Title: Why not also add a button for "Squad voice channel"!!

1- A Room channel buttom (F-11) Room chanel!
2- And we have channle buttom for (F12) V-channel !

Why not also get a 3 button for Squad channel button!
So when etc. the squad is devided in more Flighte etc. and have diffrent voice-channels switched in the V-channel, we also can comunicate to all who is in the squad with a Squad buttom!
I know we have the room channel buttom, but the again you also interfer with the other who is in the room who dont have to hear on things that is not interesting for them, and the room channel is only in range for a short distance!

Then we gett:

1- F11 for Room buttom!
2- F12 for V-channel buttom!
3- "New butttom" for Squad channel!

Same for text channels, would love the option to have at least 6.

3 channels is my idea;)

1- V-channel, as it is today!
2- Room channel, as it is today!
3- Squad channel, add a squad channel!

Post by: GA on July 08, 2002, 04:44:49 AM: So when you hit F12 for V-channel you see the yellow name up right for the Pilot who is talking and you know it is on the V-channel!

When hitting F11 you have the pink pilot name up right and know its the room channel!

And the same should go for Squad channel, Red name on pilot who is talking up right;). Then you know its in the Squad channel;).

Post by: WildBlue on July 08, 2002, 04:53:04 AM: I've had this idea since RW, thought it would work this way... one channel for all, one channel for squad... I thought that was how AH voice would work. Adding a separate channel in voice for separate divisions or flights within a squad would be nice, but we make do. Having 3 channels, one for all (country), one for squad, one for division or flight, and having them all on recieive, would be nice, but not neccessary, imo. But it would be great to have a separate voice channel for squad and country. Basically, just make two voice channels, separately tunable, but still recieavable at once. As in, you can tune country on one channel that recieves but doesn't transmit, the second on squad that can transmit. Or go all out and set it up to transmit on both. Oh well, voice is still in beta right? It'll get there.
