Title: Best wishes....account cancelled
Post by: BotaBing on July 07, 2002, 10:18:10 PM
Take care everyone. I may be back if the ground vehicle issues are fixed.

One too many panzers exploded on a tiny white rock.

Peace.

Here is a link to my thread on GV feedback.

http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53601

I like the flight portions of the game. But Air to Ground is something that I REALLY love about flying. Both sides of it. I realize this is "Aces High" but dogfighting isn't the only part of it in my opinion.

There are some GV aspects of this game that are just so incredibly bad it's more frustrating than fun to play, and when that's the case I realize it's better for me to just step back and not be a downer about it.

Take care...

Well, we tried to make GV's as fun as possible in the desert map.  I agree on some of your points.  Funny thing is when I was testing those rocks I never blew up.  It doesn't happen everytime.  I agree tho that for a little rock to blow up a tank is a bit excessive.  For now I'll zig zag around them and keep playing the game.

Check again next version.  I heard we might get some new gv stuff.

Only bad thing about GV's is the 1 ping kills from max range, first shot.  Bad enough that happens, but for some funky reason I spend anywhere from 6-10 AP rounds (hits) killing the same vehicle.  If any of you superpanzerelite's would care to share the tricks please, please do.

I've got tape of my Panzer hitting an Osty 14 times in the rear, with AP shells, from 300 range, before it died.

Aim at vehicle's turret.
This is the best way to win from GV battle.

Moose, keep in mind that even though a person singles out one item that causes them to quit, its very very rare that it is indeed one item.  Its usually one item that pushes them over the edge to cancel, I'm willing to bet that Bota has a few issues...

Anyway, good luck Bota!

btw its them "white blobs" that kill the gvs instantly. I haven't died by the rocks.

You guys are aware temperature has nothing to do with a desert climate, only lack of precipitation.
