Title: AH Voice
Post by: Squire on July 08, 2002, 01:31:21 AM
I have it mapped ok. I have tested the mic in Win98 and RW. It works fine. RW works fine. It records and plays back ok.

I can only transmitt clearly once now briefly with AH Voice and after that my voice is garbled.

Tried various settings, nothing works. I have lots of RAM 512, and a SB128 card, latest drivers ect.

Im at a loss as to what to try. Reliability seems to be worse after 1.09 IMHO.

Regards.

I have the same problem, found this post while hoping to find a solution. Have you managed to fix this problem?

And the garbled voice sounds like playback at 0.25x the normal speed or so.

I've solved it - I had to remove all hardware acceleration on my soundcard. Most people with the same problem can try lowering it one notch at a time from the control panel -> sound/multimedia -> advanced -> performance. Or something close to that depending on windows version and language.
