Title: Anyone move from dial-up to DSL recently
Post by: Curval on July 08, 2002, 10:08:54 AM
Just curious.

In two or three weeks I will be the proud user of a new ADSL service...I want to know if my scores will increase as a result.  I am hoping that I will actually hit some planes on snapshots at least...or am I in left-field?

I have found the ADSL allows me to do everything faster. Including dieing. ;)

Assuming you had a good connection before, there won't be any difference in AH, which doesn't require a lot of bandwidth. The internet surfing and downloading is a whole new experience though.

Other way around.
You'll probably find your scores drop when your connection gets better, it makes it easier for others to avoid you.
