Any paintballers interested in a high end quality paintgun for the new season? I need to sell one of my Palmers.

Nice palmer gun, I'll stick a pic up on the board at my old paintball shop.
Animal, what kind of A/C did you shoot? My team was sponsored by W'Orr Game Products, as well as Bob Long signature series, and later Belsales with their Evolution autocockers. Right before I stopped playing we made the switch to the Itimidator electronic guns, but IMO nothing since the cocker has shot as flat and accurate ball.
Sunking, are you upgrading, or just getting out of it?
-
I had a '98 cocker, upgraded to ANS internals and lighting bolt, and carbon fiber barrel 14" if I remember correctly.
Still, the marker makes 10%, the rest is player skill.

Paintball? Move to Airsoft, much better! :D

My AEG, upgraded to 400 fps, with reenforced outer barrel (to avoid the "barrel wobble" that plagues the M4/M16 series)

How do you mark people in Airsoft?
cant they just keep playing without way to prove that they have been marked?

For good or for worse, it's all in honesty. Since the groups that play at a particular field are always the same, no one wants to have an "inmortal" tag, since it's a sure way to be banned from the site.
There are other rules as well, such as not firing from less than 5 meters with an upgraded gun (it can be quite painful), wearing protective masks, and not scanning radio frequencies to spy on other teams comms.
The best way to be sure you are going to have a great time is to go with a group of people you know.

Paintball season is my fav. time of the year. Am looking to upgrade my very quiet Tippmann 68 Carbine (bolt, DYE Boomstick). I am looking at the new Tippman A-5 and using my current Boomstick on it.

RRAM, then you are going to have a lot of people you don't like, since Raptor, Finnatar, Buitrake, Gadget, and I'm sure I'm forgetting someone, are also into airsoft ;)

airsoft is a joke...
Gman. I'm not getting out just consolidating. I have 4 Palmers and a Phantom Pump. Way to many guns for the small amount of time I get you play each year. Here's a pic of my favorite A Palmer hurricane in which I cut down the stock to an " L". Very comfortable and accurate. My main tool in picking off the 'spray and pray' electro hordes that have appeared the last couple seasons.

That was very well explained, yes sir! :D
Now if you care to explain just a liiiitle bit more, we airsoft-playing mortals could understand why do you tag airsoft as a joke.

Its kinda like this... Paintball is hightec tag , take speedball for a good example, you have your teamwork, startegy and enforced rules. Where as airsoft emulates war having weapons model exactly like real guns, disorganzied groups running around on camping trips recreating scenes from Platoon. Don't get me wrong there are groups of disorganzied paintballers doing the same.. but I've yet to see an Airsoft league or real reason for kids to have pellet guns modeled after real life weapons. MHO . fire away.

It may be like that over there, but there certainly are very organized groups in Airsoft, and there are exercises with real military commandos where they teach some of their vast knowledge in combat training.
I suppose it's just who you play with that makes the difference, just as in paintball.
MHO as well, of course :)
