Title: rivers look like roads

My rivers look fine in the editor,  but in the game, they are roads.
 also, is there any way to put the river below the sea tile to hide it??
 I want the barges to appear to be crossing a bay.

Don't know why your rivers turn to roads in the game.

Rivers that are laid on a water tile ( terr0000 ) won't show up, so you can make it look like a barge is crossing a river.  
The rivers only shows up on the transition tiles where water touches land.
