Cool plane SirLoin.  I am in awe of the ammount of work that goes into those little buggers.  Let me fly it... and I can be in awe of the ammount of work that goes into repairing one.

P.S. Who's the geek in the second pic?

Or any plane come to think of it that has an engine with positive thrust line mounted above the wing...It went into such a flat spin that the only thing that broke was the tail..:)

Just curious.  How much does a Top Flight kit such as the F4U or the P-47 run?

"Just curious.  How much does a Top Flight kit such as the F4U or the P-47 run?"

Well,the kit(F4u/P47) is about $130 US.
Engine(os61) about $130
Radio around ..........$280
Flight box etc...........$250
Covering/glue etc....$120
Robart Retracts.......$100

An entry level plane is much less $$$ and way easier to build.

PS..Skurj,you recognize the lagoon?...

:D
