Just be happy we don't have humidity. I admit it's mighty warm but at least one's sweat evaporates.

I believe we hit 106, still over 90 at 6:30.
I was wrong - 108

A chilly 86 in Bermuda;)
But...we have 80% humidity at 12.00 noon with the sun shining. This makes it feel much closer to the kind of temperatures you guys are feeling right now.
Having said that, I feel very sorry for you guys living in cities up there . I lived through a heatwave in Toronto in 87 or 88 and the pollution mixed with the heat damn near killed me.
Keep cool boys.

I shouldn't complain. I've seen 124 here before.
EDIT: According to weather.com (http://www.weather.com/weather/climatology/monthly/93555), the hottest day on record was 119. Can't trust those radio broadcasters. :)

95 in Oregon... its not that high... but it is a July 10th record for us.
Worst I've ever had was 120 with 100% humidity. I remember looking at the thermometer at 7am and it read 100. It wasn't Africa... but it was the same hemisphere.

So can someone please translate that into celsius?
And please, not some smart bellybutton formula like C = 37/F +7/8

We believe that in order to field a successful NFL football team, the players have to be tough and suffer a lot in training. That's why we're sending the Bucs over to Orlando :)
