Howdy fellas. Was wondering if any of you have had this problem before. I have not had any major problems with my joystick (MS Precision Pro 2) until tonight. Actually don't even know if it is a joystick issue or not.
Here's what happened. Was in a m3 with low nme cap. Normally I stop to shoot, but this time I just rotated the gun and fired without stopping. Th m3 goes in the direction the gun is pointed, and at some point I was shooting toward the back of the m3. Now, my views, no matter whether cockpit, gv, field gun or tower, jump from forward to back in a sporadic manner, sometimes even with no stick input.
Could it be the joystick is just old (about three years or so)? Or could there be something else happening here? Tried rebooting and it didn't fix it. Thank you in advance for any advice.

3 years is a good lifetime for a $70 stick.. If ya don't want to open it up and have a look, retire it and try one of the different sticks on the market. (ya don't know what you are missing if you don't try em)

I had a problem similar to the quote above with my MS sidewinder. The rudder control through the joystick handle was turned on and when i would turn my turret/gun I was also slightly twisting the joystick, thereby causing the GV to turn at the same time. I turned off rudder control and everything in GVs works fine...however...now i can't turn rudder control back on! duh-oh!
I'm in the market for new joystick; if you purchase a new stick post it on the BBS!
good luck
