Flos: don't know if you've ever seen this profile, but I know you do a lot for AH so thought I'd post this in your honor.
P-51B Flossie II of Major Earl Abbott, 328th FS, 352nd FG, Bodney, June '44. Abbott named the bird after his wife and scored two of his 4.75 aerial kills in it. He also was credited with one ground kill. While CO of the 328th he was killed over Aachen on his 92nd combat mission.
