looks small , just as a guess i'd say it's a US escort (jeep) carrier

its either the Saipan or the Wright  , and i believe they  were not compleated til after ww2   , 1946/47 perhaps ?

It may be one of the independence class carriers also (the Cowpens) ... but i think my 1st guess is correct .

Independence class CVL, but they all look the same to me - did you remove the number from the flight deck somehow?
