Title: Sys. freeze at log on!

I installed newest update and now my system freezes when I click "OK" button to log on.

Help please.

I better give some specs on my system so Skuzzy doesnt lecture me ;)

800 mhz, directx 8.1, 256 ram, have a firewall but never had conflicts with it before and I allow AH full access.

Actually, everything worked PERFECT before latest download!

Please reply....I....(sob, sob)..need HELP!:(

With the new update you will have to give AH full access once again.  The firewall will recognize a change and disallow access. (thats what happens with ZoneAlarm at least)

I also use Zone Alarm.  I did allow access.  I Disabled my firewall and AH still freezes at log on.

Does it freeze if you go offline?

Yes.  Online or off it freezes.

Ok, ok....it was the firewall!!  I completely removed it.  After I reinstalled it, I still cant let it run with AH...but at least I'm back in the game....to my wifes dismay (he he he)
