Now I have to wait until the one map that supports GV action and minimizes gangbangs to come back around...

I disliked the pizza shape...but not the added strategic elements for enhanced gameplay...I like having the option of playing one of several games (GV assault, surface assault, bomber runs and dogfighting) now I get that added dimension of fun 1/5th the time...The other 4 maps are now largely moot for such fun due to the driving distances from spawn points and the gangbanging that a bomber faces near targets.

What we need, IMHO, are new maps that support the added elements..not retreads (unless its just a very temporary measure)...

Has anyone at HTC ever bothered to give us the courtesy to publicly address this issue or are we still speculating about 'new' maps. If so, what kind of release schedule are we looking at..? If there's a thread or announcement covering this please point me to it. Thanks.

I really like akdesert, but it was getting old, nice to have the old ones in the rotation with it.

It takes time to make new maps. Do you really think that Akdesert was the last map they would ever introduce? As it is they listened to their customers and brought back the old maps for the time being.
