Title: P-63 Kingcobra
Post by: Shuckins on July 17, 2002, 06:21:39 PM
First of all, congrats to Hitech's staff on 1.10.   Great work guys.  I have grown especially fond of the FM-2.

Don't known what you're working on at present, but I would like to cast a cordial vote for the P-63 Kingcobra, which was used in considerable numbers by the Russians on the Eastern Front.  IMHO it is more deserving of inclusion than some aircraft whose production numbers barely made it into the hundreds.

How many others out there would like to vote for the P-63?

Again,  good work HiTech1

Regards, Shuckins

I would love to see it in AH, but the P-39 is needed first.

Two of my favorites.  My father-in-law flew them both.

Hmmm... how about some actual native VVS planes? Lend-lease formed only a small part of the Soviet air force, and there are still some large gaps in the *genuine* russian planeset - Pe-2, Tu-2, Yak-1, LaGG-3, Mig-3 etc etc etc.

Of course I'd prefer to see the Stuka over any plane right now, then more Russian A/C. :)

9,584 p-39s were built according to what I found in a fast web search.
