Way cool indeed.
Rip..were you being facetious or serious regarding why the Ukrainians would be upset by it? Can't tell.
-
I was seriously, but I just noticed the Swastika on the tail...he should probably remove that, then all will be well.
-
The "people" are prolly westerners who are shocked to see swastika on a flying plane ;)
russians are probably at most disturbed by the sight of german plane rather than lousy swastika..

Dude, I would like to have a chat with this man and work out just how the hell he did it.
A similar project in Europe or the US would be extremely expensive. Even small build-yourself airplane kits are prohibitibely expensive here (less so in the US). But the dude made a reasonable reconstruction of a JU-87!
That, I think, is impressive. If he can, so can others.

Thats for sure. That thing looks perfectly scale. Where'd he get the canopies/plexiglass? The jigs to build the wings? The guy must be incredibly skilled...
edit: nevermind, just saw that it was mostly built from a kit. Still impressive, though.

Fellas, it said model kit, not kit plane. That guy basically looked at the model plane three-view and built it from that (if I understand correctly). Very impressive!
-
"...equipped it with a four cylinder engine..."
It would be funny if he put a 4 cylinder VW Bug engine in it. Can you imagine hearing that thing flying around. :D
(Wooohooo!!!! 1Kth post)
