Why can I not engage in combat with you without you calling me a "studmuffin","COWARD" or "DWEEB" on the OPEN channel?I have never once called anyone anything since I joined AH and I have never had anyone personally attack me the way you always do.I am offended by your comments and hate to take this public,but this is the second time.The last rant we went to dual arena and settled it there.I even kept quiet that you had just changed your name to Fester,hoping for the best with your new start.It lasted a while but as far as I'm concerned you haven't changed one bit!!!

Don't worry about it too much SirLoin. You would think a player as good as Fester is, would be above that, but who knows what motivates some folks. The best solution is to just squelch any player who tries to get your goat. Don't respond to 'em and let 'em stew in their own juices. If you get upset, then they have won more than their fair share. I.e., don't engage in dialogs with idiots you can't punch out. :)

Sir Loin..how dare you shoot down fester! Didn't you checkmthe "Read ME" file in your directory...it clearly states in small print.
"..at no time can you shoot down Festardbria as he is the best fighter pilot in the world and is above being shot down...."
He has stated in the past that he gets out of hand and is trying to work on it. My advice to fester...map your text buffer key to "ALT + F4" that way by the time you relog you would have thrown your joystick, kicked the cat and settled down...a nice <S> would prevail.

The funny thing is that ego is driven by a desire for respect.
Fester is a good stick but lousy sportsman.
With his exceptional skill in mind, it is amazing how he has lost the respect of so many.

SirLoin flys the Spit V if I'm not mistaken. I would not call him a dweeb. :) Now, if he was flying a Spit IX while shooting me down, I'd call him a dweeb, tho in a respectful way. :D

I witnessed this one. He begged SirLoin to reverse and fight. When he died as a result of getting his wish he went into a tirade. Well, he says he's gone for good. Somehow, I think he's lying just like the briefer in KC that told me I'd have some build ups out of Kansas, but once into Missouri it would be smooth sailing into TN (this on Sunday). WRONG!
Well, I enjoyed logging that rare and actual IMC. My instrument ticket ain't rusty no more. :D

Quite agree... he's a damn fine stick but any respect I had for him has long since gone because of his outbursts. We all have outbursts at some stage but the constant verbal tirade is just not acceptable.

I used to laugh at TOWD as if he typed with his toes, but Festarbria may in deed have mastered it. :)

I hope Fester isn't permanently banned. Someone with that much talent is good to have around. I heard he was kinda young, Could be he just needs to grow up. Maybe he'll learn his lesson with a 2 month spell in the penalty box.

Fester was on tonight.
He may be considering quiting, but I don't think anybody has threatened to ban him.
I don't want to see him go simply because I like there to be really good pilots in the game. I know he has trouble with his temper, but I'd rather put up with it, even squelch him on occasion (I never have, I've never shot him down either), to have a very skilled opponent out there.

Fester has come a long way controlling his temper. For that I <S> him. An occiasional outburst just shows he's human.
Hope he stays, and procedes to work on his temper some more.
You want to hear tirades, you should hear me at work :D

It would be a shame to lose such a good pilot in AH.
And to all who asked; does being a good stick allow him to do or say anything he wants? NO, it doesn't, but it also doesn't mean he has to quit AH right away, we all make mistakes in life. Hell, I know I'm not the nicest guy to be around once I get frustrated myself.

Fester can't even keep his promise to quit. he may be a good stick (or a hacker), but he is a poor sport!! He proved it by taunting Sirloin then having his tail kicked ( yes Fester u were owned buddy) and then throwing a temper tantrum online. Maybe someone could change his diapper for him so he won't be so cranky!!! Better luck in your duels next time Fester. You were out gunned and Seriously OUTCLASSED in a big way!!!

Okay guys... I KNOW Fester has pissed some indiv's off. He seems to be alittle tightly wraped at times. BUT the guy has always been okay by me. He's sent me film and offered me some tips w/I was TRYING to fly the 38 here.
He doesnt talk NEARLY as much smack as some several others on channel 1.
I hope he sticks around and just gets abit more mellow perhaps about this pac-man w/wings game.

I dont ever understand loosing your temper over a good fight, won or lost.
Sirlon has kicked my butt a few times, but we had some good messages on private afterwards.
If Fester is loosing his temper from fighting in AH, he shouldnt be here. There is absolutely no place in AH for that kind of behavior, or that kind of player.

I don't think anyone wants him banned or to leave on his own will. Besides, he is such a charactor, that the game is simply more interesting with him in it. I have never squelched anyone in this game because I am way more entertained by peoples comments than I am offended by them. People like Fester make me laugh, and you have to love him for that.

The Festerbot is definitely a well refined product but HTC need to work on the taunting algorithms a bit more. Currently they are cutting into almost all of the outputs into the text buffer. Once they get that code sorted the Festerbot will be a pretty neat package... :)

Yes Fester is a good stick and can back up his words to an extent. However when he is outclassed and gets a few cannon rounds in his rear, his ranting is somthing I would expect from a small child that just lost their blues clues doll. :rolleyes:

1 beacuse its not just Fester but others who rant as well

Man... what am i missing? All these guys that quit or get banned are being called "good sticks" but I have never seen how any of em are anything special in a furball. All I see is em making excuse after excuse when they die. I have seen some real good sticks... they don't make excuses.

I dont think my old friend Mista Beef ;D wants Fester banned or anything. I doubt he even minds a little friendly tauting.
But Fester probably should refrain from any personal attacks. It seems to be what Sir Loin is asking for.

Maik,he told me "FUK YOU" several times on the OPEN channel as well as the aformentioned.I think there is nothing wrong with an open letter if you slander on the open channel.Also interesting to see other peoples inputs as well.

I disagree,
Fester needs peer pressure.
He (and many others) need to hear that certain behavior will damage your popularity and if you keep it up, come prom time, no one will want to elect you as prom queen.
