I wanna know why there's a stepladder next to the roofless igloo.

It's obvious to me. They used the Ladder on the top of the igloo as an antena. Then some wise guy climbed on the ladder and clolapsed thru the roof. But thank to the roofless igloo, the own could see the plane coming and started to run away. the ladder being the only thing handy, he grabed it. But the ladder was really too heavy and he abandoned it after a couple of feet.
