Title: Any UK Guys going to RIAT?

Hi All,
 Are any of you planning on attending the "Royal International Air Tattoo" at RAF Fairford this weekend (20 - 21 July).

I will be there Saturday.

If you plan on going post here and perhaps we could meet..

I'll wear a red carnation :D

Im thinking about it as I missed Duxford:(  It all depends on if I can borrow my Dads car:eek:

 Be great to meet you if you do make it, I missed Duxford as well this year :( Hope to make one of the others later in the year though.

Was going to go tomorow (Saturday) but then I saw the weather forcast... Typical British summer so I'm going to sit at home in the warm and dry and drink tea all day.  :D

Snafu, Sorry I didnt contact you, But only come on the board for the first time since last friday. If you wont im going to the September display at duxford we could meet at that one?:D

Hi Mush,
 No Problem. I can't make the September show. I'll be sunning myself in Puerto Rico (Gran Canaria) :D.

RIAT was fantastic, We decided not to go Saturday because it absolutely pis..... (Er rained a lot). - Although apparently it was fine at Fairford.

I left my wife in charge of the Camera but hopefully I should have some pics to post soon. The theme this year was Bombers and the show put on by the B52, B1B (Sheesh that baby' LOUD as it goes down the runway), Plus the flypast by the B2B Stealth made for a great day. (Of course we also had the B17, Lanc, Blenheim etc.

I got a some nice film of a P51, P47 & F15 doing slow (For the F15) flypasts as well but no VIVO on my card so I am looking for someone with Vivo so I can make a small Mpeg.

Its alright for some, Just booked Duxford tickets, going to try and get to october one to so let me know if your going to that one mate?

If I dont see you first have a good 'un in Gran canarea mate;)
