Hiya Guys,
Something to ponder...
I like the written word over the spoken word for one main reason: I have time to think about what I am going to write and can edit it if need be.
When I speak the words, I am under pressure to get them all out and often times the wrong ones come out. People are standing (sitting) there waiting for what it is you have to say so there is some pressure to get the "show on the road" so to speak.
I have been perusing this BBS the past few days and it has occured to me, on more than one occasion, that people are writing words as if their spoken, without the luxury of taking the time to "think" and "edit" what is being put on "paper".
Disagreements are part of life. We all need to learn to deal with that in a civilized manner.
May I take this opportunity to beseech all of us to take the time to "think" and "edit" before we post? It would make for a very much more enjoyable BBS to peruse... :)
