Sure youre that type!The human animal is a competitive egotist-theres no denying it! Come one come all to The Ladder-H2H 1 vs 1 will teach you ACM like no arena can.
I understand that many of you like the commoraderie and missions,team aspect of AH,but NOT to participate in the LADDER is denying your human instinct to best the other man.
This is not the ramblings of a braggart because I get my bellybutton handed to me as often as not 1 vs 1.Just trying to swell the ranks of the Ladder.Any-one that has never had the experience of 1 vs 1 ladder duels-once you get over the ego-crush of being beaten(with-out possible excuse),you will learn to thrill to the sheer rush of it!

Last week we had about 25 pilots help out with testing the functionality. This helped alot and I'd like to thank all who participated. We've found a few changes that need to be made and I'll be working on those this weekend. If all goes well, The Ladder will be ready for action first thing Monday morning!!
For all those interested in the Rules, R.O.E. and details about how Challenges are made and recorded, please checkout the Ladder Forum. If you have any suggestions, now's the time to speak up.

There will be an announcement when we are ready to let people start signing up again. Last time we dueled I was still a nightly WB pilot and as such barely managed to beat you in the old WB ladder.You were already well into AH and as such came into the fight with a 'stale' hand.You are 1 of the many that I fear as I know you take this seriously (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
Besides after seeing that pic. of your son I dont know that I could pull the trigger even if I could gain the angle. THATS what I mean when I say the human man will seek ANY advantage to defeat his fellow man in a 1 vs 1 do or die! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Funilly enough that man (Hblair) has never been seen in the front quarter of my plane....alwas seems to be in the back. Mhhh...Will put on my Skunk suit if I have to fight him, that might be the trick to get him out of there !!!

This goes out to all that have never been in a dueling situation: you think your all big and bad cause you fly in the MA, well i got 1 thing to say to that.....BRING IT!!!!!!

Fight is considered "ON" once within icon range. Anything goes, except running away (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
If it turns out that everyone hates this particular rule, it can be changed, but I haven't really heard any complaints so far. Most seem to think it's OK.

Agreed-That first merge will be a real test!
Should I offset for the lead-turn or put the money down on an opening shot?
I suppose that depends entirely on WHO your fighting at the time,and which round you happen to be engaged in.
Down 3 rds to 1, that aggressive shot on merge will look VERY tempting but,( because of the accurate modeling of Energy bleed[according to what I've read.],it may cost you JUSY enough E to get you stalled at the next merge.
3-D chess 21st Century style.Plus the new graphics and....man this AH is quickly becoming THE benchmark WW2 air-combat sim!
