I wonder about the tube inside the Messerschmitt cockpit ( the red ring).

I may be wrong, but isn't that tube for firing Very flares without having to open the cockpit?

Its for the pilot.......if he has to do something that would otherwise make the cockpit moist and uncomfy :D

lol....yup WB3 ..... i was wounder'n what it was ... when i played WB3 i think its for flares also or it could be what Nilsen2 said ... ive never met a german so i cant say

Thats flare gun port, pilot could fire colored communication flares trough it. You can see it at pick... (the black circle in front of the starboard windscreen)

I don't think that's a "peter tube" as someone put it.  Imagine trying to do that into the wind at 300 knots.  Now if it were pointed to the rear of the aircraft....
