[edit] This is what happens when someone tries to imitate the works of Kurt Tank...aka the brittish Dora.

As this already flew while the dora was not even wearing diapers by then, i must conclude the Dora is based on this.
:D
and i think it's beautiful :)

How about this nice british plane with 4 engines? Looks cool eh :)
AirSpeed Fleet Shadower: Max.Speed 115mph but could stay up in the air 11 hours...

Oh..yeah? Well if you want that one then we MUST have this one...(yet another example of British aircraft designers on drugs) :)

LOL! We need all of these planes! ;)

The aircraft shown in the first post is absolutely fuctional in its designed purpose. It is a trainer for Lancaster tail gunners.
The 2nd post is simply an unmodified Lysander.

Hello Karnak, Actually that Lysander mod, was not for training. It was actually an experimantal (obviously) idea for rakeing the beaches in case of a German invasion. Everything I have read suggests the plane flew wonderfully. Just in case anyone cared. I will try to find my reference to it.
Thanks, Chris

I recommend 'British Prototype Aircraft' by Ray Sturtivant. ISBN 1-85648221-9
