I'm being 'taken' to 6 Flags in Denver tomorrow. Can't say I'm exactly thrilled about the prospect. Crowds aren't my favorite... anyway, anyone been? How is it?
In a week I'll be 26. I've never been on a roller coaster. Guess I'll get that out of the way.

never been on a roller coaster?
Damn your parents should be put in jail! :P
Six flags is no cedar point, but the two I've been to, in buffalo and cleveland, are still fun.

When at the top on the roller coaster, just remember; it's all down hill from there.
To give you something to relate too, just imagine yer a LW pilot with a stuck canopy and a wing shot off.
Don't forget to scream and flail at your restraints on the way down. :D

actually there are some pretty cool coaters.
one of them has you suspended 'superman' style ...

We'll see... looking pretty overcast this morning.
I know that feeling all too well, Hang. :)

Went to the one in Texas a few weeks ago with my adult kids. Seems the rides get wilder and wilder. Always brings out the kid in me, and sometimes my lunch. ;)

Been to 6 flags denver several times, since i live a few miles down the road, bit pricey for me and long lines but then again its an amusement park and i have never been one for that sort a thing. :o

rode this thing recently several times, its ablast!. Coasters are about the closest thing to a fighter AC without a pilots license:)

Six Flags (six studmuffins) is for wimps and girls. Too commercialized, too sanitized, too bland.
Cedar Point here in Ohio is the only truly good amusement park in the U.S. that I know of.

My family of 3 young boys and my wife and I enjoy the three Six Flags parkes in Texas alot. Now my wife is a girl, but neither my boys or myself are "studmuffins". You oughta try some of the new coasters they have at some of the parks, quite good.

Well, I absolutely hated everything but the coasters... for my first roller coaster ride ever I went with the fast red one where your feet dangle (mind eraser maybe?) For the first 2 or 3 seconds, I was completely out of breath - mind blank (how fitting, eh?) then I was able to squeak out "F@#$ me!", and enjoyed the rest of the ride. By the time people were ready to go on the superman coaster, I was completely sick of the place, and had no desire to sit in line.
The old wooden one was a kick in the pants though!
