The teachers in Cal. (Where else :) ) have found a new use for the sticky wonder.  They are tapeing children to the floor, to teach them about slavery.

 Its not another state.  Its another planet.

Cripes, anyone tried to tape my daughter to a floor is looking for a swift kick in the ass.  I sense lawsuits in their future.

So what we have here is a teacher with language skills so poor, that he/she can't describe the horrific nature of slavery well enough for 7th or 8th graders to understand it.
This teacher is an idiot.

Teacher - "Our next topic will be murder and how its' really really bad. Can I have a volunteer from the class for a demonstration?"

These are very young children.  The mind boggling part, for me.  Is that the teacher felt these children would not understand the nature of slavery.

 They leave a home where they like as not got a whipping at some point, for not doing what they were told.  They then go to school where thire teacher has total control over their lives.  It seems obvious to me that these children have a far more immediate knowledge of slavery then that teacher has.

Why do these weird things seem to happen in Ca.?  

I'd kick the teacher's bellybutton if this were my kid.
