Title: TBM bombsight

Did TBM's really have a Bombsight?  I thought it was a torpedo/dive bomber?  It had a crew of three I believe, which did not include a bombardier.  And if the TBM does have a Bombsight when it shouldn't, why not the Mosquito or A-20?  What's up with this?

TBM did have a bombsight

the 3rd man operated radio bombsight and ventral gun i believe


Do ya think HTC would put it in if it didn't exist???

I did some research (which I should've done myself in the first place) and found out you're right.  There was a bombsight on the TBM operated by the 3rd crew member, who also was the radio operator and manned the ventral gun.  My humble apologies for doubting the accuracy of AH.
