Title: Question about CT setup....
Post by: GhostRider2110 on July 26, 2002, 10:55:55 AM
Last night (25 July 02) we did several A20 runs... First run I set the "roll" as attack and took out a FH at a field...  Was able to land back home (less one nose gear and lots of oil :)  ).  But when I went to the hanger after that run, there were no points awarded.... So I thought... Ok maybe I need to set the "roll" as bomber.. so I did... hit a Vehicle base.. took out the VH and Barrack... landed and still no point.. Is this what way things are suppose to operate?

Sometimes perk points are not enabled in a setup.  This usually occurs when the setup has no planes that cost perk points in it.  So it shouldn't effect gameplay.  I dont have any perk planes in this setup, however, perkpoints are currently enabled.

Thanks Jarbo... Accually the reason I noticed it, was on a goon run with troops I did get points and on some fighter ops... It just seemed to be the A20 that didn't..

"perk points" are not your "score". they are only used to "purchase" planes that have been assigned a perk value. A lot of the time in the CT we run set ups that have no perk planes. Either we will have pyro set all eny values to 0 or we may just leave ummm as is.

With most set ups perk points are reset with the new set up. Especially set ups that have perk planes available.

Thanks Wotan... I knew that the score was not tied to perk point... I just sometimes us the perk points as a gadge to see if thing "registered"  (I know.. not a good way to do it)... and when I see one activity give perk points and another not.. just got me wondering...  Thanks again for the reply...
