Ok i was playing IL2 cause i lost internet connection for 3 days due to lighting affecting my modem and blowing it out and i noticed there were 2 litle Rectangular props on the gears of the stuka D3 and turned around like they were "stabalizing?" and upon touch down on landing around 200mph they stop turning.....
Also i was thinking air speed indicator?
Bright the stuka and jerico trumpet to AH for defeating the T34!

Those were spinners to drive the sirens in the spats that were turned on when the Stuka went into a dive; the siren wail was an additional psychological aspect of a Stuka attack -- increase the schrecklichkeit ('frightfulness'). The sirens were added after it was noted that the dive brakes of the Stuka would emit a howling sound near the end of a high-speed dive. The siren, called the 'Jericho Trumpet', fell out of use during the Battle of Britain because the drag from the propellor decreased the speed and maneuverability of the already vulnerable aircraft.

yah if they ever bringthe stuka to AH it better have the siren
