Post by: ra on July 26, 2002, 03:34:47 PM: I remember when the Redskins drafted some college hotshot name Shuler or something. Boy, you talk about a let down. He sat on the bench for $1 million a year before finally being dumped on some west coast team, which soon got rid of him. I guess college careers don't always carry over to the pros.

Four years in the leauge, but only played three of them. In that time Leaf ammased a QB rating of 50 and Shuler ammased a rating of 50.4 So I give the edge to Leaf

it was a toss up that year about who was the better draft pick at QB. schuler or dilfer. they both sucked in the pro's. 7th round pick gus frerotte beat him out as starter the next year.

schuler scored low on the wonderlic test. but 1st year coach norv turner just had to have him. that's when i knew norv was a moron. it took 6 more years for the rest of redskins management to answer the clue phone about ol' norv.

Post by: Swager on July 27, 2002, 07:38:29 AM: They are nothing but a bunch of spoiled college brats! These guys a born with a God given talent, size, and agility and they blow it because they are a bunch of babies.

Man, I love football but I could never be competitive because I was small. So I sit there and watch these guys make millions to play the game I would just enjoy playing if I had the "stuff". Hear them crying and complaining makes me sick.

Now it hurts if I just "see" someone get tackledl! :)
