I usually am already aligned and ready to land 2k behind the carrier, whatever I'm flying, be it a FM2, C205, b17, a234 or c47 :D

buffs are by far the easy thing to land on a cv

Why?

Cos they can fly at 100mph with out flopping about like an S O B

last night I did a run with c47 but the base wasn't capped, I ran back to a nearby cv, did a perfect landing (a run to the closest airbase would be more than 10 mins, while the cv was 3-4 mins away), reloaded, took off and capped the base :)
