Title: Looking for a Squad
Post by: wipass on July 29, 2002, 08:48:49 AM
I would prefer if possible a squad that  meets during euro times or alternatively on  Sundays  at around 5.00 PM UK Time which is midday EST.

Primarily a Fighter/Jabo squad and not fussed regarding axis or allied aircraft or wether it is an historical squad or not.

If the squad has a trainer and or CM in its ranks then better still. I am an ex warbirds stick (3 years) and have been here for 2 months.

No CM's or official trainers but we're a friendly bunch and will help any and all that ask.  Mainly US EST pilots but there's a bunch that fly Euro friendly times and 2 UK pilots and a French bloke.  Look out for us, we're flying Bish at the moment.

wipass, we are a primarily european squad, have a great bunch of guys, who are willing to train if needed.  We are not CM's, or official trainers, but we are willing to help if asked.  We fly with knights, look us up if your still looking.  Our squad flies just about everything, has no historical background and just enjoys the game.

eskimo, it's wipeass, from having 2 young kids and a wife that is (supposedly) hypo allergic to kids poo.

Thanks for the other replies guys, I am currently flying knights and if you see me online please say hello and ask me to wing up.

Thanks again

Shame you don't like bombing Wip I'd take you onboard no problem. We do do jabo but not enough I suspect to keep you happy.

No offense to the others but two of the best fighters squads I know are 56 Squadron RAF 'Firebirds' and 249 Sqn RAF 'Gold Coast' both with a strong contingent of British players.

308 (Polish) RAF have a sizeable (10-12) group of Euro pilots, and flies in the Sun afternoon (9:00 pm  Euro time) Tour of Duty.  The rest of the time they casually mix it up in the MA, flying planes of all nationalities. 'bikekilla' is CO - give him or 'ramzey' or 'band' a shout if you see them online.  We're basically the members of WB 303 (Polish) RAF who fled WB for AH.  We'd love to have you!

It's an opera-unfriendly site anyway.  Reeks of M$ HTML rather than something the W3C would approve.  I'm on board now, though, and I sense a night of php/mySQL comming one of these days :) (unless Kutt would be grossly offended, in which case I'll muddle on with Opera/Galeon and not see everything) :)

HYPO or HYPER?  Big difference.  If she's HYPO then she owes you several years of diaper changing...  :D :D ;)

By the way, there's remarkably little difference (chemically) between kid poo and people poo.  Diet is everything; if she's too allergic to change diapers then they need a change of diet.  Anaphylaxis is _NOT_ your friend.  :)

SWEET!!! That is the funniest excuse I've ever heard to duck poop wiping chores. The totally amazing thing is a woman used it. Seriously, that has "lazy-ass man excuse" written all over it. Does she have access to this board? At least we'd know where she got the inspiration :D

Here's a two word counter for that: latex gloves. Plus once she puts them on, she's ready to clean the toilets too. Bonus!:D

Good Pilot, would be a good addition to a Euro squad. Kicked my butt more than a few times.

Wip, just send a check :D

Glad your hangin :)
