Yes their were far better armored cars in WW2 than the M8, why was it added......it has a 50cal AA MG. Somthing all others did not have. Imo it was the right choice, the Puma was a better AC, but no aa MG.

"...and when you were done with it, you could put it in your pocket."
I didn't realise it was so tiny.

i drive to a newly captured v-base in a m8, i scout toward the direction of an enemy spawn point. i start up a v-shaped draw and spot a spark. zoom in. sure enuff, its a pz.
the vh, is still burning, i'm stuck with the m8, and i only have HE ammo. i back down the draw, and pull off to one side, engine off, and gun aimed at mouth of draw. the pz pulls up the the end of and stops. i start blazing away at the only part of the pz showing, the turret.
of course, the HE is just bouncing off (cool graphic!) till he turns turret to me, then i start to hurt him and he despawns. i was able to kill this pz with an m8 by setting up an ambush so i could get a few flank shots before he even knew i was there.
i guess what i'm getting at here, is an element of armor play is lacking in AH. the terrain doesn't allow for setting up ambushes.
it's just slugging matches out in the open, where the m8 is pretty useless.
a couple of m8 questions. why only all HE or all AT? and no smoke?
