Just an little survey...
When you get into a multiple choice 'Eennie, meenie, miney, mo; Pick an con to kill fo sho" sitution, which plane do you pick on first?
Me; I like to kill 190's.. just somethin about em... (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) My second choice is the F4u's and I gotta say; I get all kindsa giggles outta killin Spitfires.

Hangtime,
I usually look for hangtime. Then I get distracted by anything else, chase it, and find Hangtime on my six hosing me down.

I just checked, Hangtime and I are 5 and 2 (Hang-5, esk-2).
Against stangs I am 22 and 7, remove Hangtime from those stats and I am 20 and 2 against non-Hangtime-driven-P-51's. LOL.
I have had my butt kicked most worstly by N1K's (my old ride), 9/10, ouch.
190's I am 7 and 2, hang
My best ratio is against C-47's, and I probably go for them first.

I always go after the Nikis or La5's I see as for whatever reason, these planes are the biggest threat to me. If I don't force a fight with them, they usually find me anyway. As you can see, the result is horrible. Dunno why, but there it is.
Nash has 10 kills and has been killed 11 times against the La-5FN.

Actually, I always go for B-17s first. I don't know why, I'm useless at attacking them and almost always get my radiator damaged, but hey (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Panzer seems to be one of the more deadly craft around... vs aircraft it has a k/d of

I look for the most dissimilar plane to the one that I'm flying and try to engage him when I have an advantage. When I fly the p51 I try to find spits. (15 to 7 versus them in all planes)
When I'm flying a C205 I try to find E fighters that are low on E.
Having JG2 in Knightland means I don't often get to shoot at 190s. (I think I found 3 this whole tour. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ) I decided to fly a 190 myself for a couple days and surprised myself. When I flew it like I fly the p51 I was 13 to 0. Later 2 tanks and a bomber killed me, so I finished at 15 to 3. (I can't wait to try the A5. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) ) The A8 is good only if you have 5k or so to use against an enemy. When a 35k P38 comes flying in you better run home fast.
Unfortunately I didn't have too much time this tour to spend flying AH, so I didn't even break 100 fighter kills. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)

I also look for the most helpless smoking plane. I attack it(course it gotta be below me)and just before his engine quits and noses down,and I see the pilot wiping the canopy to clear the oil I press the attack!!

Citabria, the best way to defend a vertical attack in a B17 is to auto-speed 280mph which puts the B17 in a almost vertical dive and then puts the top turret and tail gun pointing right at the vertical attacker! When flying the F4u-1c, I enjoy hunting other F4u-1c's. Most of the pilots are HO dweebs that don't know what to do when you successfully avoid an HO situation.
..then of course you occasionally bump into Torque.
If its based on pure hatred for an aircraft though.. I'd have to say that killing an N1k gives me a perverse pleasure. I don't just kill these planes... I blow them completely apart. Dunno why there is such a rage here... my psychologist and I are working on it.

The P38s, 190s, F4Us and Tiffies are the most dangerous opponents. All of these are faster than the G-2 and equally armed. Well if I had to pick an AC that I like to kill the most it would be the F4u-1c then the Spit.
My favorite ride in Tour4 was without a doubt the Panzer.
My record in the Panzer was:
174K 73D
Against other tanks it was:
87K 26D
The only other AC that came close to killing me as much as the Panzer was of course the F4u-1c.

Keep in mind this coming from a guy who had about 30 hours in just learning to take off during my first Beta Tour.
I'm not going to post up my trophies. I have had not much time to play and my numbers are low. However; I do have a small margin of satisfaction from Tour 4 that I am very pleased about.
I have been flying the P-38 pretty much exclusively since it came out and "Quite Frankly" I sucked in it. I became much more the non-illusive "MinoTaurget" than I ever was. My K/D was in the .50 to .75 range.
Due to the posting of this thread I checked my stats. In the P-38 I have a positive K/D vs any plane excluding the F4U-1C. My K/D is 1.5 in many cases and up to 2.0 vs certain planes.
Against the F4U-1C my K/D is .50 and so you could say "That Plane" is my nemisis. I like to mixed it up and often get "nicked" in my fights. I just have to learn to avoid giving that bird any snap-shot solution and I will have conquered them all.

(http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) I only use the 7.9mm "rat guns" when I'm out of cannons. My convergence is set to 250yds for all guns. If I play no-icons, I drop it too 200.
I fly with a wingie about 75% of the time online. I always use RW. Bombers are much easier to take down with a wingie.
