Post by: marauder on July 31, 2002, 02:17:15 AM: Have you noticed that at the hitechcreations.com site (in the
screenshots section) the screenies posted are old and
have been there for a lonnng time. Maybe if someone posts
more current screenshots
(scenic,action,explosions,AH vehicles+planes)
here, someone at HTC will see them.
Perhaps they will like some of them and post them at their site...
I know, it's not likely that they'll even read this but it's worth
a try. From what I've seen here at the BB we players/fans
of AH have a lot of good screenshots to share. And, I'll bet
when someone is checking out AH for the first time on the
web - trying to decide whether or not to download and start
playing it - one of the first things they click on is "Screenshots".

shoot that planes wing off with a shot from a tanks

i've managed to hit 2 flying planes with the panzers 75mm, one was a spit or la7 with a HE round, it went down

The other was on the wing root of a b17 with an AP round, it carried on flying, i finished the b17 off with pintle mg :cool:

Actually it's not that hard!When you have the target in sight and you know you're gonna get him,just zoom in and keep firing,at the same time pressing Alt+S like mad :)

First, I apologize if you already know any of this :o

How to do screenshots? Do you mean?:
1- How to capture a screenie while playing AH?
2-How to convert screenies from bitmaps to jpegs?
3-How to make jpegs small enough to be posted here?
4-How I added the squid to the screenies?
Answers:
1-While playing AH hold down the ALT key and press the S key.
(screenies will be in your HTC/Aces High Folder named ahss0,
ahss1, etc.)
2-My method is more complicated than what others do (I use
two programs) but I've read here on the BB some use this
program: Irfanview:free image editor (http://www.ryansimmons.com/users/irfanview/)
3-Probably just converting the screenie from the 3MB bitmap
original to .jpg format will be good enough (If not, change the
dimensions to less than 1024x768 during conversion).
4-I haven't altered ANY of the screenies I posted in this thread!
(The whole point of this thread was to post untouched AH
screenshots with the hope that Hitech Creations would see
them and place them in the screenshots link of their website).

Post by: OntosMk1 on August 16, 2002, 04:38:27 PM: :D Right, this is what i did. I opened up all the screenies with Paint. Ya know the program that comes with Windows. Went to file, clicked on "Save as" and at the bottom where you put in the file name. Located under it Is a tab with file format listings. Select .Jpg then click save.....Your file will be saved as a .Jpg decreasing its size and making it groovie to upload;)

As long as you have the rudder, you can fly back home and land. Easy .. unless enemies come by.

If I remember right someone made a "Kursk" type map in the CT...im not sure though.
