Warbirds Bf109f4:
25% fuel 360 w flaps: 16 sec
50% fuel 360 w flaps: 17 sec
100% fuel 360 w flaps: 17 sec
Aces High Bf109F4:
25% fuel 360 w flaps: 19 sec
50% fuel bf109 w flaps: 20 sec
100% fuel bf109 w flaps: 23 sec
rode the stall hard on both WB and AH. after 3 full circles I timed every other 360 until i got board of seeing the same time over and over.
what does it mean?
nothing significant, just that one sims f4 turns much better than the others
its a simple comparison

Looks like our fuel is heavier than WB's ?
Another reason to whine..... (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

hehe i was just curious of the difference after this turn rate debate.
but you have to know one hard cold fact of turn rate and radius which should apply to either sim:
At a constant altitude in a coordinated turn, for each angle of bank each airspeed has a specific rate and radius of turn, they do not vary.
and:
At slower airspeeds, an airplane can make a turn in less distance(smaller radius) and at a faster rate. Thus, to decrease the radius and increase the rate, one steepens the bank and decreases the airspeed.

Good points. You might add that your relationship of airspeed and G to turn rate and radius is only true of certain WW2 aircraft, as modeled in these sims. These assumptions are not true of modern jets.

Jets??
LOL!

Arent they an NFL football team from NY?

How's that Andy?

yup corner speed applies to some but not all a/c from what I understand.
if I read it right it means that at a speed above min control speed the a/c has the thrust and power to move around at a rate faster than it could at a slower speed.
at which point G's and pilot tollerance become factors.
got the quotes from the Gleim study guide (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
