Probably something along the lines of "You'll be hearing from my lawyer tomorrow"

I swear honey it followed me home...
Ack-Ack

i don't think that thing fits in anybody's living room, and if it does, you surely are rich enough to buy a new wife :)
-
Wonder what this really means...
The unit needs software and hardware to tie the computer from the audio and video to the hydraulics.

just plug it in and call it a new force feed back joystick lol

There's a good chance X-Plane has native support for the entire full-motion rig. If the rig follows any type of industry standard for full motion control, then X-Plane can probably drive it.
Just an interesting aside....
It'd be neat if AH supported these things, so we could use the item being sold in the auction above to great effect.
Imagine:
SYSTEM> teufl landed 12 victories in a C-47
ZeroPing> i am so high ri24ru8@(*Y#$R@#Hy
Innomin8> ZP, what happened?
ZeroPing> some bellybutton shot me down and dumped my beer all over me, then I
ZeroPing> got burned by my weed! SIT DOWN!
That'd be sweet.

you might be right chairboy, X-Plane boasts that they are the only consumer simulator approved for FAA ATP rating.
-
roflol. Get a life

Who you responding to, ATC? I, for one, thing there's something admirable about the idea of ZP getting stuff spilled all over him because someone popped him while he was spamming the radio.
It's justice! : )
-
I think ATC is suggesting that the guys who have home-built cockpit mockups might be taking AH a "little" too seriously.
And I'd agree.

"Sorry about the ceiling and roof, honey. I had to tear it out for this to work. You can ride in it too."
-
...followed by 'Honey, I applaud your attention to realism, but that pistol isn't the kind the pilots carried in flight when... honey, that's hardly the safe way to hold that, why, if it went off it would hit me! Hey, no need to pull a bullet into the clip!'
-
Yes its up to $3550.00 but notice that is not even the minimum bid. Yikes:eek:
-
who the hell is going to buy that thing? Doesn't it ned drivers and stuff like that?
-

I dont know about you, but I'd feel extremely ridiculous climbing to sit in a static mock cockpit and then be stuck with no motion and a 19" screen for visuals..
It'd be cool at 10 years old.. At 30 its a joke, at least to me.
If it'd be combined with parhelia surround gaming and 3 flat panels as windows it would be coolish.. For up to 14 years.. :)
I think that sidenote in the ebay ad meant that the cockpit lacks the hardware required to control the hydraulics. That means you need $10k worth of equipment just to get it running, let alone accept any commands from your home pc.
