nice ... you'll have to work a little on the face though. Looks a little crushed (vertically) and the nose looks a little disproportionned.

But it's very nice :)

Not bad at all Joe :)

bad thing: But as my Life drawing teachers used to say, 'an image isn't made of lines, they are made of tones'  ie real life things very rarely if ever have lines around them, the shape is defined by tone to give substance/depth etc.

Good thing: full range of tones used from black to white, cool :D

Bad thing:  A bit of background, even if its anly a tiny bit can make a huge difference to an image,

Good thing : And last (this is really cool) look up what the 'golden meen' or 'rule of thirds' is,  can really help with composition (which you have done naturally in your picture, two thirds body, one third head)

And even though I have just written all the above remember.

Is there a ghost image of a face in this drawing?  I didn't see it at first.  I like it!

Looks like you have some good constructive comments... I know little about drawing but wish I did, maybe some day, I am only 42 :)  Keep it up!

i know, my drawing isnt as good as your awesome stick figure drawings that you probably give to your mommy to post on the fridge....i'll try harder next time.:D ;) :rolleyes:
