Two female teens kidnapped from a "lovers lane" area in California at gunpoint.
Seven people dead in Jerusalem, five of them Americans, from a bomb in a handbag at Hebrew University.

If they don't find those girls soon, their chances for survival go way down.

Good news does not draw ratings. I disassociated myself with all forms of so called "News" quite some time ago. They all go for ratings and do not report news objectively.
Know what? I feel better now than I ever did. Maybe the wise one was right, "Ignorance is bliss."
Oh,..I take that back. I do watch Comedy Central's "Daily News" with John Stewart. Hehe,..if ya wanna call that news. They spend more time making fun of reporters than anything else.

Great News: kidnapper dead!

Excellent News: my daughter took her first unassisted poop today. Unfortunately it was in the toilet and not on the Washington Post where it could read by the ignorant masses and mistaken for objective news.

Saw a multi-car accident up on a viaduct that's my usual route to work at 5:15 am, viaduct completely closed but luckily there are multiple ways of getting to Pearl. But a bunch of people are already having a bad day. After reading the AH BBS, I normally scan through BBC, then my local news sites. Saw the story about the girls and started feeling the gloom building.
I intend on being a father one day and news like that pisses me off to no end. People (especially youth) being robbed of their futures.. I thought majik and Eagler were being optimistic until I rechecked the news. I'm very glad the two girls are fine now. I don't care about the guy that abducted them. Hm.. maybe not... slow torture or some form of public humiliation maybe, but he's not gonna hurt anyone anymore now.
